The Bible

We believe the Old and New Testaments are inspired by God and reveal His truth to humanity. The Bible is trustworthy, authoritative, and our final standard for Christian faith, doctrine, character, and conduct.

We seek to understand Scripture faithfully, teach it clearly, and apply it to every area of life.

The One True God

We believe in one true and living God, the Creator and Lord of all things. He is eternal, holy, loving, all-powerful, all-knowing, and worthy of all worship.

God exists eternally as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—three distinct Persons, yet one God.

Deuteronomy 6:4; Matthew 28:19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 Peter 1:2

Jesus Christ

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God, fully God and fully human.

He was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, revealed the Kingdom of God, performed mighty works, and demonstrated the Father’s love.

Jesus willingly died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose bodily from the dead. He ascended into heaven, where He reigns as Lord and intercedes for His people. He will return personally and visibly in power and glory.

Humanity and Sin

We believe every person is created in the image of God and therefore possesses God-given dignity, worth, and purpose.

Humanity was created for relationship with God, but sin has separated every person from Him. All people have sinned and are unable to restore that relationship through their own effort, morality, religious activity, or good works.

Every person needs the forgiveness and new life that God provides through Jesus Christ.

Salvation

We believe salvation is God’s gift of grace and is received through repentance and personal faith in Jesus Christ.

Through Christ’s death and resurrection, those who trust in Him are forgiven, reconciled to God, made spiritually alive, and received into God’s family.

Salvation cannot be earned. It rests entirely upon the finished work of Jesus Christ.

The Holy Spirit brings about the new birth and begins transforming believers into the likeness of Christ. Jesus is the only Savior and the only way of reconciliation with the Father.

The Holy Spirit

We believe the Holy Spirit is fully God and is present and active in the world today.

The Holy Spirit convicts people of sin, reveals Jesus Christ, brings about the new birth, indwells believers, guides us into truth, produces godly character, and equips the Church for ministry.

We believe in the baptism and continuing fullness of the Holy Spirit. Through the Holy Spirit, believers receive power to live for Christ, share the gospel, pray effectively, and serve others.

We believe the spiritual gifts described in Scripture remain available to the Church. These gifts should be exercised in love, humility, biblical order, spiritual discernment, and submission to Scripture for the glory of Jesus and the strengthening of His people.

The Christian Life

We believe every follower of Jesus is called to a life of worship, obedience, spiritual growth, and loving service.

Through the Word of God, prayer, fellowship, worship, and the work of the Holy Spirit, believers are progressively transformed into the character of Christ.

We are called to turn away from sin, walk by faith, bear the fruit of the Spirit, forgive others, pursue holiness, and love God and our neighbors.

Christian growth is not meant to happen in isolation. God places believers in a church family where they can receive encouragement, correction, prayer, care, and opportunities to serve.

Prayer, Healing, and Freedom

We believe God hears and answers prayer. Because Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever, we believe God continues to work through prayer, spiritual gifts, healing, deliverance, restoration, and other expressions of His grace.

We pray for people with faith and expectancy while trusting God’s wisdom, timing, and sovereign purposes.

All ministry should exalt Jesus Christ, agree with Scripture, respect the dignity of each person, and be conducted with compassion, integrity, and spiritual accountability.

The Church

We believe the Church consists of all people who have placed their faith in Jesus Christ and have been joined together by the Holy Spirit as the Body of Christ. Jesus alone is the head of the Church.

The local church is a spiritual family that gathers for worship, biblical teaching, prayer, communion, fellowship, discipleship, mutual care, and ministry.

Every believer has a place in the Body of Christ and has been given gifts, opportunities, and responsibilities through which to serve others.

The Church is called to demonstrate the truth and love of Jesus in both word and action.

Water Baptism and Communion

We believe Jesus gave the Church two important practices: water baptism and communion.

Water baptism is a public response of faith and an identification with the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. It expresses a believer’s commitment to follow Jesus in newness of life.

Communion, also called the Lord’s Supper, remembers Christ’s sacrificial death, celebrates the new covenant, expresses the unity of His Church, and proclaims His death until He returns.

Mission and Compassion

We believe every follower of Jesus is called to participate in His mission.

The Church has been commissioned to proclaim the gospel, make disciples, pray for people, strengthen families, care for those in need, and demonstrate the compassion of Christ in the community and throughout the world.

We seek to serve people without partiality, share the hope of Jesus with humility and courage, and use our time, abilities, and resources to advance God’s Kingdom.

Human Dignity, Marriage, and Family

We believe every human being is created in the image of God and should be treated with dignity, compassion, patience, and respect.

We believe marriage and family are gifts established by God and should be strengthened, protected, and nurtured according to the teaching of Scripture.

In every relationship, followers of Jesus are called to practice truthfulness, faithfulness, purity, forgiveness, humility, and sacrificial love.

The Church should be a place where individuals and families receive biblical instruction, prayer, encouragement, healing, and practical support.

The Return of Christ and Our Eternal Hope

We believe Jesus Christ will return personally and visibly to establish the fullness of His Kingdom.

There will be a resurrection of the dead and a final judgment. Those who belong to Christ will live with Him forever, while those who reject God’s salvation remain separated from Him.

God will ultimately defeat sin, suffering, death, and every work of evil. He will make all things new, and His people will dwell with Him forever in the new heavens and new earth.

This promised future gives believers hope and calls us to live faithfully, courageously, and expectantly.
